19 and 0. 61 straight regular season home wins.

Nebraska volleyball beat No. 13 Purdue 25 to 13, 20 to 25, 25 to 19, 25 to 14 Saturday at John Cook Arena at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. The question coming in was whether a ranked Purdue team could do what nobody had done in the regular season. Purdue took a set. That was it.

Four Huskers in double figures

Teraya Sigler led the way with a career high 15 kills. Harper Murray had 13, Virginia Adriano 11 and Manaia Ogbechie 10. It is the first time since the 2024 season that four Huskers reached double digit kills in a Big Ten match.

Nebraska (19 and 0, 8 and 0 Big Ten) hit .303, finished with 12 blocks and held Purdue (11 and 6, 4 and 4 Big Ten) to .133 hitting. The Huskers also piled up a season high 64 digs. It is their eighth win over a ranked opponent this season.

Reilly did a little of everything

Bergen Reilly finished with 44 assists, 15 digs and five blocks for her fifth double double of the season. She is the second Husker in the rally scoring era with at least 40 assists, 15 digs and five blocks in a match, joining Kelly (Hunter) Natter in 2017 against Penn State.

Olivia Mauch had a career high 21 digs. Andi Jackson led the Big Red with six blocks, one of three Huskers with five or more.

How it went

Set 1 was over early. Reilly served the final five points as Nebraska won 25 to 13 and held Purdue to seven kills against six errors.

Purdue answered in set 2. A 6 to 0 run put the Boilermakers up 18 to 11, Nebraska’s largest deficit of the match, and they evened it with a 25 to 20 win.

Sigler took over set 3 with six kills, including three of the Huskers’ final four points. Nebraska closed on a 6 to 1 run after Purdue pulled within 19 to 18.

Then the fourth. Tied 8 to 8, the Huskers ripped off nine straight points while holding Purdue to .029.
