Nebraska Football 2024 Predictions 10-2


As the 2024 college football season approaches, anticipation and excitement build for us here in Nebraskaland. After an offseason filled with strategic recruiting, staff adjustments and facility changes, the Huskers are set to take on a favorable schedule. Here’s is my win loss prediction of how Nebraska’s season might unfold, highlighting the first 3  matchups and outcomes that could define their year. Take note that in the first 3 games I have Nebraska scoring a combined total 119 points. I think they are taking the End Zone and making it home turf. They are tired of being 3 or 7 points away from greatness, this year they do something about it. 

    1. Aug 31 - vs. UTEP: Prediction: Nebraska wins 42-14. The Cornhuskers start the season strong with a dominant performance against UTEP, showcasing their superior offense and a maybe the best defensive line in some time. UTEP struggles to keep up with Nebraska’s pace and depth.

    2. Sep 7 - vs. Colorado: Prediction: Nebraska wins 35-24. In a closely contested game, the Cornhuskers stretch out the lead against Colorado with a late fourth-quarter touchdown, benefiting from home-field advantage and a more balanced offensive attack. I am expecting there to be a lot of Husker Ground yardage this game. RUN THE DAMN BALL actually happens!

    3. Sep 14 - vs. Northern Iowa: Prediction: Nebraska wins 42-10. The Huskers overpower Northern Iowa with a potent running game and a strong defensive showing, reflecting their depth and talent across the roster.

    4. Sep 21 - vs. Illinois: Prediction: Nebraska wins 

    5. Sep 28 - @ Purdue: Prediction: Nebraska wins 

    6. Oct 5 - vs. Rutgers: Prediction: Nebraska wins 

    7. Oct 19 - @ Indiana: Prediction: Nebraska wins 

    8. Oct 26 - @ Ohio State: Prediction: Ohio State wins

    9. Nov 2 - vs. UCLA: Prediction: Nebraska wins

    10. Nov 16 - @ USC: Prediction: Nebraska wins

    11. Nov 23 - vs. Wisconsin: Prediction: Wisconsin wins I am going to reserve the right to change this as I see it as a toss up and coming down to want to and preparation. 

    12. Nov 29 - @ Iowa: Prediction: Nebraska wins
